Americorps
AmeriCorps is a national service organization that offers young adults a way to give back to their communities. Members serve for one year and receive a living allowance and an education award at the completion of their service.
AmeriCorps has partnered with Habitat Monroe for a number of years to build capacity and new homes in our community.

Internships
Internshps are a great way for students to get great hands-on experience in a field that they might be interested in. Habitat Monroe provides Internships for the following positions:
- Construction
- Fundraising/Grant Writing
- General Internship (tailored to an applicant's interests and Habitat's needs)

Q: What is the age requirement for an intern?
A: Interns must bet at least 18 years of age.
Q: Do interns receive compensation?
A: Interns receive no monetary compensation. Course credit might be available, check with your college or university.
Q: What is the time commitment for an internship?
A: Time commitments vary depending on the intern's position, Habitat Monroe is willing to try and accommodate the intern's schedule and hours available.

In order to be considered for an internship, please submit 1) a signed and completed application form, 2) one letter of recommendation.
