Helping as a Volunteer

Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer based organization, this includes our ReStores. The Habitat Monroe Restore is always in need of volunteer to do the following, but not limited to:

  • Load and unload donations / merchandise
  • Clean and organize merchandise
  • Store Maintenance
  • Greeting and Assisting customers
  • Set up display

The ReStore is a retail store open to the public that sells donated new and used building and home improvement materials, furniture, appliances and much more!

Proceeds from sales provide financial support for Habitat Christian housing mission.

Shop & Save. Donate & Deduct.

Donate

Item donations can come from individuals, local businesses & corporations.

As you support the ReStore by recycling your old items you are also helping protect your environment by diverting tons of materials from entering your landfills. This provides a tremendously positive impact not only for you and your family, but for your community as well.

What can you donate to the ReStore? View a list of accepted items or call the ReStore if you have any questions (734)243-1108. If your donation is too large for you to bring to us – we can come to you. We offer local pick-ups two days a week – just call us to schedule.

All donations are Tax Deductable; a receipt will be given for each item donated.
